SUMMARY:Husary Olive Oil Tour and Tasting
DESCRIPTION:Join us and immerse yourself in the world of olive oil production. \nHusary Olive Oil began in 2009 after a trip to Palestine. Olive cultivation is a very ancient tradition in the Middle East and trees can live for 2\,000 years. \nHusary’s olive grove has many different types of olives\, but it became a passion to also grow the olives native to Palestine. With the help of UC Davis\, they planted Nabali and Souri olive trees\, and you can purchase an olive tree on-site. Their olive oil is organic and handcrafted by the family-owned and operated business. \nYou will have the opportunity to walk through the olive grove and hear about the varieties they chose to plant. You will also learn about the milling process (which they do for home growers) and get to taste their artisanally crafted oil. After the tasting\, you will have the ability to purchase their award-winning olive oil. We will then meet for a picnic at a location to be determined to spend time with our Slow Food friends\, so bring your bag lunch! \nDon’t miss this unique opportunity to savor the essence of Husary Olive Oil with fellow food enthusiasts! \nGET YOUR TICKET

Their mushrooms have been certified organic and kosher since 2005. \nMerry Edwards – The Merry Edwards Winery was founded in 1997 with a focus on locally sourced and estate grown Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. SUMMARY:Regenerative Farming Tour
DESCRIPTION:Singing Frog Farm is an 8.8-acre regenerative farm growing vegetables and flowers under a no-till process in Sebastopol. They do not use any sprays of any kind – not even organic! Paul and Elizabeth are dedicated to soil health and work tirelessly to educate small farmers and students about regenerative farming. \nCome join us for a private 1.5-hour tour where you walk through the farm and Elizabeth will talk about their farming practices and challenges. (Wear close toed shoes.) You will have the opportunity to get your questions answered by a leader in Regenerative Farming. Singing Frog Farm has won numerous awards and participates in a food CSA as well as one for flowers. You may decide to join after hearing how much more nutrient dense their food is compared to grocery stores. \nAfter the tour\, we were invited to have a picnic dinner at the farm to talk among ourselves. So\, bring your packed dinner and spend some time with us! \nREGISTER
